SRINAGAR, DECEMBER 14 (KNO) : Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan today chaired High Level Committee (HLC) meeting and issued directions in 24 cases related to various developmental projects in Srinagar.
The meeting was attended by DDC Srinagar, Chief Engineer R&B and officials of other departments. 24 cases were put before the HLC, out of which final directions were passed on 22 and with regards to remaining cases a committee was constituted to re-verify the cases. In some cases Div Com issues directions for compulsory acquisitions and in some cases the owners accepted the terms and conditions for vacating the structures.
The cases which were resolved today pertained to expansion and beautification of Khankah-e-Moulla, beautification of Hazratbal Shrine, development of Community Hall at Karfali Mohalla and Jamia Masjid, widening of roads and other projects.
The Divisional Commissioner directed that all the decisions be implemented within 20 days.(KNO)
